On September 30th of each year, the Florida minimum wage is set to increase until it reaches $15 per hour.
The current minimum wage in Florida in 2024 is $12 per hour. However, starting on 30 September 2024, the minimum wage will increase to $13 per hour.
While not a huge increase, this additional $1 per hour can make a difference by adding up based on the hours worked over the course of a week, a month, or a year. If you are entitled to receive at least a minimum wage and your pay does not reflect this increase in the required minimum wage, then contact the FairLaw Firm to discuss your options with a wage attorney in Miami.
